Mrs. Schlimmer invested five years as a pediatric nurse before raising four children. She and her husband home-educated their children for many years. Her two youngest graduated from Providence. Seven delightful grandsons have enriched her life. She and her husband worship with the saints at Emmanuel Church in Bothell.

She loves living in the beautiful, green Northwest, sipping a cup of warm tea by the fire, and sharing laughter around the dinner table with her family.

Joyce loves the school’s mission and vision for partnering with parents to teach children to think and act biblically. Training these little ones has become her delight now that her own are grown. She desires to give each student a safe, secure, structured environment that allows for joyful learning and discovery. Helping them see God’s beauty and work in the world as well as teaching them to love Him and love others in all they do are her daily goals.
