Robert’s love for math took him down several paths in college. He started as an engineering student, first at the US Naval Academy and later at CalTech, before finding his true passion in the business application of mathematics. He is currently the CEO of uDecor, Inc. where he uses math to make decisions about product pricing, inventory control, and advertising. He loves teaching math at Providence and providing students with the mathematical foundation to be good stewards of the resources God entrusts to them.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys coaching baseball, playing board games, and hiking Washington’s legendary trails.

Robert and his wife, Ashleah, have two children who attend Providence. The Welches fellowship at Avondale Bible Church in Woodinville.
