Wendy spent her childhood on Whidbey Island and attended university in Seattle. As a young adult, she taught at classical Christian schools in Nevada, Tennessee, and Oregon, before settling down in the Seattle area.

Wendy loves the beauty of language, thoroughly enjoys working with children, and is grateful to be teaching grammar level Latin at Providence. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, bake, go on outdoor adventures, and spend time with her husband and son.
