Michael has lived in Washington since 2010 and attended one of Providence’s athletic rivals in high school. In his time at Providence, he has taught English, history, rhetoric, and math, coached basketball and soccer, and headed up student trivia and puzzle clubs.

Outside of the classroom, Michael’s favorite activities are spending time with his wife, Mattie, and their family. His favorite topics are history, theology, sports, pop culture, and whatever new things his sons are doing that week.

Michael and Mattie are members of King’s Cross Church in Kirkland.
