Kim Knudsen

College Advisor, Director of Student Life

Kim grew up in northern Idaho, attending a classical Christian school, and as a result, she is a strong advocate and supporter of classical Christian education. Kim’s family is so thankful for the Providence experience and community.

Kim has enjoyed working with young and older children both in and out of the classroom, specifically with Young Life and Campus Crusade for Christ.

Kim enjoys camping/backpacking, gardening, reading, songwriting, coaching swimming and other sports, cooking, and hospitality. She also enjoys participating in running and swimming racing, taking in theater and symphony performances, and meeting friends over coffee.

Kim believes that every student is important and has unique gifts given by the Lord. She delights in helping students to realize their potential and hopes to inspire them towards both the pursuit of their loves and towards faithfulness to their Lord.

Kim, and her husband, Jeremy, are parents to two Providence graduates and two children who attend Providence.

The Knudsen family attends Snohomish Community Church.
