Sarah was born in Jamaica and grew up in Miami, Florida. She and her husband, Matt, moved to Washington with their sons to help plant a church in the U District.
Serving in Christian education for nearly 30 years, Sarah has taught a variety of grades. She especially enjoys leading students in the foundational year of their academic careers and partnering with parents as they train up their children.
She enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading, and having friends over for “family dinners” and game nights.
